Privacy Policy
Effective 2 August 2026
The short version This page sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no advertising pixels. The only personal data it ever receives is what you type into the appointment form and press send on. That goes to one mailbox at Ascenta, we reply to it, and we never sell or share it.
1. Who is responsible
Ascenta Studio, a brand operated by La Factoria LLC, 8 The Green, Ste B, Dover, DE 19901, USA. Contact: hello@ascentastudio.com.
Maison Roux is a house Ascenta invented for this demonstration. It does not exist and it holds no data, because there is nobody there to hold it.
2. What we collect, and only if you send it
- Your name and email address, so we can reply.
- Which leather you picked and anything you write in the message box, so the reply is useful.
There is no account, no newsletter signup and no hidden field that collects anything else. One field in the form is a spam trap that a real visitor never sees and never fills in; if it arrives filled in, the message is discarded.
3. What we do not collect
No cookies. No analytics or tracking scripts of any kind. No advertising or social pixels. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not track you across other sites.
As with any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.
4. Why we may lawfully use it
If you send the form, you are asking us to get in touch, so we process what you sent to answer you — that is our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry, and it is also the step you asked for before any possible agreement. We do not use it for anything else without asking you first.
5. Where it goes
The form is received by a small script on our own hosting and sent by authenticated email to a single Ascenta mailbox. Along the way it is handled by our website host (Hostinger) and our email provider (Google Workspace), both acting on our instructions. A copy of each message is also written to our own server so that an enquiry is never lost if email fails.
Because we operate from the United States, your message is stored there.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we can pick up where we left off. After that they are deleted. Ask us sooner and we delete it sooner.
7. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may also be able to object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Write to hello@ascentastudio.com and we will action it — normally within a few days, and in any case within one month.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If you are in the EU or the UK and you think we have handled your data badly, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
8. Children
This page is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
