Read this first The Meridian is not a real watch and there is no watch company behind it. The brand, the references, the calibre, the rate certificate, the atelier in Genève and the prices were all invented by Ascenta to demonstrate what an immersive product page can do. Nothing on that page is for sale, no order can be placed and no appointment with a watchmaker exists.
1. Who publishes this page
This page is published by Ascenta Studio (“Ascenta”, “we”, “us”), a brand operated by La Factoria LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with its registered address at 8 The Green, Ste B, Dover, DE 19901, USA. You can reach us at hello@ascentastudio.com.
Ascenta designs and builds websites. This page is a portfolio piece: a demonstration of our work, published by us, about a product that does not exist.
2. What this page is, and what it is not
- It is a demonstration. Every claim it makes about a watch — dimensions, materials, movement, water resistance, the number of stones, the regulation results, the limited run of three hundred — is fiction written to fill a realistic page.
- It is not an offer. Nothing shown is available to buy, reserve, order or deposit against. Prices are illustrative and bind nobody.
- It is not advice of any kind, and no statement here should be relied on for any purpose other than judging our work.
3. The appointment form
The form at the foot of the page works: it really does send us a message. What it does not do is book a viewing of a watch, because there is no watch. If you write to us through it, you reach Ascenta, and we will reply about building something like this for you — not about the Meridian.
What happens to what you type is set out in our Privacy Policy. In short: it is emailed to us, we answer it, and we do not sell it.
4. Ownership
The design, code, text, photography and film on this page belong to Ascenta. You are welcome to look at it, link to it and show it to somebody. You may not copy it, republish it or pass it off as your own work, in whole or in part, without our written permission.
Third-party components are used under their own licences: the typeface is Instrument Sans, published under the SIL Open Font License, and the smooth-scrolling library is Lenis, under the MIT licence.
5. Availability
This is a demonstration, so we make no promise that it stays online, stays unchanged, or works on every device. We may take it down or replace it at any time without notice.
6. Liability
We provide this page “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, Ascenta is not liable for any loss arising from your use of it — and in particular, since nothing here is real, no one can reasonably rely on any product claim it makes. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
7. Our actual services
If you engage Ascenta to build you a website, that relationship is governed by our service terms at ascentastudio.com/terms, not by this page.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. If you live in a country whose consumer law gives you rights that cannot be contracted away, you keep them.
9. Changes
If we change these terms we change the date at the top. There is no account to notify and no newsletter to send.
